I have started working on a new pokemon sweet game using RPG maker xp and the pokemon essentials package. this is only possible due to the massive efforts of many artists in the pokemon community, ThatRandomSpriter Pikafan2000, JanethePegasus, and of course the original creators of pokesweet 1 Ephraim225 and Channini. It is my hope that using this game making tool will provide a stable platform for players to use and will allow higher resolution graphics to be used to make a more immersive game. You may have already seen some results posted in the featured folder of this community gallery. 

I intend to make this game with a strong story (the outline of which has been written and checked by TRS), trying to keep the feel of the previous two games, maybe slightly more serious.

I personally dont want to use the same three starters over again in this game, as lovely as they are, i think that would be boring, and theres no reason that i can see for doing so, its just non commonsensicle. the 3 charm-bulba-squirt-will be available to catch as regular encounters somewhere or be rewards for solving puzzles, or hidden as easter eggs.

Game maker xp is very forgiving and we could have all the pokesweets in it if we wanted to. there is no limit to the pokedex size, only however many we are willing to put in, how long the development will take. I think taking our time and not rushing will be the better option. If you would like to help, a good place to start since many pokesweets are completed, although theres nothing wrong with dupes forms, would be finding mp3 game music, maybe unique battle crys for the sweets would be cool too.
